We got hit by Charley..full blast. Tree's and flowers all a mess. More tree's down than left standing. I'll do pic's later.Husband took cameria to work to show co-workers the mess. Insurance man just left..we aren't covered for the downed tree's because they didn't land on the house. cinnabor edit... the loss in brugs was really bad I had some large tree type the tops snapped off,the smaller ones just blown down or under the tree's.

Wow, I feel so bad for everyone who was in the path of Charley. That has to be just devestating. It takes so long to get trees to a nice height and in seconds they are gone. I'm glad you are okay. The film we would see on the news was enough to make my heart ache for people who lost so much. I'm sure glad your home was left intact.
Cinnabor, So sorry for your damages!This doesn't mean much now, but when you recover from this , I will be glad to share Brug cuttings, & other plant cuttings, & seed with you. I hope you and all the people in Charley's path know that all of us are holding you in our hearts & prayers.We have made a donation, but I wish there was more I could do!We never know how someone feels unless we walk in their shoes! Melba, Thank you so much for your kind offer. I have some people out side right now trying to cut up some of the fallen tree's. I hope they can do some of the clearing with out doing much more damage to whats left of the gardens. I will see what is left when it's cleared. again thank you.. cinnabor/Ruth
I think all you have to do is post here telling us what you have lost and someone will come in and help. I know we can't replace big plants, but most of us will have lots of cutting material later on. We can at least get you back on your feet with brugs.
