FREE Kid Safe Web Browser

Hey all =)

I joined DG to get away from 'puters LOL but since I can't seem to keep my head out of this forum, I thought I'd post something useful =)

This is one of my side projects, its a Kid Safe Web Browser called KidRocket. http://kidrocket.org
The current version v0.96 will expire Oct 1st 2004, I'll have the final v1.0 ready by then, with more sites & goodies.
Its 100% freeware, has built-in offline Math flashcards, animated demo for first time users & currently has 10 quality kid sites programmed into it.
It doesn't try to block offensive content & fail like all the others. It blocks the entire internet except for the sites I program into it & works like a charm =)

Theres also some fun classic games on http://kidrocket.org that you can play thru KidRocket or your normal browser. Pacman, Tetris, Asteroids etc.

Notes:
This 0.96 version requires that you have IE installed & uses small parts of it.
The final v1.0 will use Mozilla/Firefox & default to IE, if Mozilla/Firefox aren't installed.

Just download the KidRocket_096.exe to your desktop & doubleclick the rocket icon to run it.
Its a "Standalone" application, which means it doesn't actually install itself to your harddrive, it runs from within itself. Totally non-invasive! ;)
To un-install? Just RightClick & Delete!

Also...If you have a firewall? you will have to answer "Yes" when it asks for permission to access the internet, in order for the browser component to retrieve & display webpages.
