LOL! They ARE tall ..aren't they? I didn't have any in there last year...and this year..those came up volunteer. Go figure! Thanks Don.

I had a couple of colors of Cleome' and they were pretty tall, but today they are very short. The wind took them completely over last night. It wasn't a good night here. I love how dainty the blooms look, even if they are big. However, sometimes they do smell a little skunky. LOL!

I used to have lots of cleome also Brugie..had 3 different colors plus white...but they just seemed to have disappeared over the years. And ya know what you guys? I went out and looked at those cleome this morning....(we call them spider plant here)...and it was the angle of the camera that makes them look so tall.! They are tall..but not up to the spouting..as it looks in the picture!

cleomes.. coming back... *groan* I've been stripping the dried seed pods and sprinkling the seeds in my butterfly bed... oh geesh.. I hope I don't have them all germinate next spring...
