I got this tissue cultured banana off Ebay as mixed kinds.Anyone know the variety? It's not Rojo or Zebrina..notice the undersides are silver /white, not red like those kinds. ?????

Sumatrana has red undersides.......well we will keep looking.......Cala in your dreams!! LOL It has a pup already on the base and the plant is only 11 inches tall now! I got 4 different plants(bananas) off Ebay at $2.40 each for TC. Plants.

Larry, I don't remember,do a search for bananas at ebays home and garden thread. They had over 400 pots available when I got these. Nice plants...all were tissue cultured. :-)

Cala. we had a huge one at work had to be cut out it got up to the 75 foot level and was going to go thru the glass panels! :-)

How do you keep the tissue culture plants alive. I got 10 different varities of elephant ears last year and not a one lived for the year.Do you grow them in pots first when you get them. Of couse the hail storm when they were pups did not help any. LOL
