Mon Amour de Marieul

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

This hybrid was bred by Mme Duback. She is very pretty even though, the skirts do not drop always. She has much versicolor influence. The color is a very nice Pink.

Whitewater, WI

With beauties like that, I'm surprised you don't get 300 visitors a day, Monika :)

Summerville, SC

Monika, that is so pretty! does it smell good?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It has a wonderful fragrance.
I am exhausted. Each time, 80 people had gathered around me and the ones farther back kept calling: speak louder please so we can understand.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Simply gorgeous!!! Wish I had "smell-a-vision"! :~)

You had 80 people touring your garden? That's incredible! No wonder you are so exhausted!!

Very nice show and it is beautiful as expected from a great grower.

She is so beautiful. Sigh~~~~

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Beautiful!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

She is very pretty. The first picture I ever saw of her looked almost red. It is good to see her true color now. I love the size of the bloom too.

Shirley, I believe Monika had two tours today with 80 people in each of them. I'm sure she is doing some serious sleeping right now. I sure would be.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow, Wow, and Wow that is soooo pretty, dropped skirt or not. I love that color, it is almost a Salmon. Real an eye catcher.

Hey Monika, you have one after another great brug. Thanks so much for sharing them all with us. I just love looking!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hi Tarkus. Great to see you here. Hope you are enjoying being on your own at Daves now instead of just looking over your DW's shoulder. Are you guys fighting over the computer now? LOL!

Why thank ya kindly, Mz Kell & Mz Shirley :)

I'm resigned to losing the battle over computer time, Shirley lol I'm only on cuz she's watering. lol

I figured it was time to join up, Kell After seeing her post my pics, I realized she needed someone to monitor her...lol

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Welcome back Tarkus. You two will have to set a timer for each other for computer time. Monika ... that is beautiful!!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Hi there Tarkus. Did you know that there's a handyman forum here that should be right up your alley?

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Hi Tarkus! I also have to say its great to see ya here. Along with the Handyman forum, did ya see some of the ears posted on the tropical forum?! lol

Monika, how does she hold up with the warm weather? Is this one you will hold onto for awhile?

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh Monika, what a beauty! At first I thought it was a huge rose. It sure is a beauty!!!

Tarkus, welcome to Dave's. I agree with Brinda, your DW is a Sweetie and we love her. Hope you two can come to an agreement on computer time. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I vote for a his and a her computer! Worked in my house!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

LOL Kell, that's a great solution to the problem. I'm sure glad DH doesn't know anything about computers.

Thanks everyone... :)

& yes, Liz, I've already been poking around in the handyman forum..lol
& yes, Shelly, I noticed the ears & I'm concerned of how much I noticed...lol
& yes, Brinda, my DW is a sweetie but of course anyone that chooses Steel Datura for a nic is always going to have me say nice things about her... :)~ j/k Honey.. :)
& yes, Deb & Ada, we did come to an agreement on computer time...When she's home, it's her time tho it's not so bad since she spends most of her time outdoors with the brugs..lol
& yes, Kell, we were going to vote on a his & hers computer but then she pointed out that anything that was mine, was hers, so it wasn't necessary....

& yes, I've officially hijacked my first DG thread.......SORRY MONIKA!!!!!! It won't happen again....

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)
