New seedling

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The color of this seedling is a surprise for me. But I would be happy, if it would stay like it is. It is a pure x candida and therefore not succeptible for SB. The flower has a wonderful fragrance.

Wow, that is a beauty. Nice color, shape, and tendrils. Another one we need in the US. We are so short on some varieties. Had to enlarge it and look again. Very pretty Monika.

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

That IS a pretty color! Will it get darker?

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Beautiful Monica, and interesting that it is not susceptible to SB. Is there a database somewhere with such information as that? Are there any other pure x candida? and will it take heat and humidity?

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Oh Monika! I love that bloom!!! Congratulations!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Yes, it does have l-o-n-g tendrils, so pretty!

Beautifull, Monika. The color, tendril lenght and size equals my wildest dream of an B. aurea hybrid or B. x candida as well. The flower looks nice with thick walls as well :D

Is it first flush or a later one? Never mind 'lol' Some of mine changed a lot going through flushes, but some stayed the same as well. I just cross my fingers and hope with you, that it will remain like this always :)

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, very nice indeed............. a keeper! :-)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thank you all!
Tonny, it is the first flower of this hybrid. It needed four days to change from white to golden yellow. I hope, that the next flower will be just as pretty. It should be open tomorrow.
Kyle, I hope it will be a keeper. It has no suaveolens genes at all. It is a x candida with excellent parents and grandparents. Sounds funny, doesnt it :-)

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Hi Gwist!!! Long time no see!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Very nice Monika! I don't think we have a yellow pure x candida over here.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

She is a big girl! I love the color, is there a nice hint of orange in it? Great pictures!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The color has an orange hint. Liz, pure x candidas in golden yellow are rare, even here. That is why I was so surprised about it.

Eureka, CA

Gorgeous

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

I really like this one, Monika! Beautiful, rich color with sturdy-looking flowers and great tendrils. I hope it turns out to be a good performer - I bet you could make some interesting crosses with this one. I wish we had a brug like this in North America.
