Yesterday I bought a one layer carrot cake and some no sugar added fat free 'ice cream' and my daughter brought a 2 layer red velvet cake and some regular vanilla ice cream so we could celebrate our granddaughter's, her friend's and my birthday all at the same time. This was the only time Cindy and I could seem to get together for our shared birthday the 29th. Her friend's was Saturday. Anyway I ate some cake and ice cream and was so miserable all the rest of the day. I'm just not use to eating like that anymore and my system let me know it wasn't going to tolerate it. Most of the carrot cake was left as most of the family wanted the red velvet one so the carrot cake is in the freezer for an indefinate length of time. We kept the no sugar added fat free frozen stuff for my diabetic hubby and I and sent all the rest back home with our daughter. It will be a long time before I try that stunt again!
