Love the Patio size plants. Yes, you are getting there and I'm so glad you have seen bloom now. What do you think of brugs now? LOL! I know you are hooked. Don't even have to ask.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

Hey Rikerbear, way to go! Isn't it great when you finally get to see brugs of your own. I can sense your excitment, and remember mine when I first got blooms. Now, when are you getting more??? LOL

Looking good, rikerbear.

Well done ! So what do you think of their scent?? :)

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

They are really a sight to see the first time. You are doing great. Ted

Yes, but Marc that count well in deed :) It is good going, when the plants have this size. As you are in zone 8b I bet it won´t take long as well, before the plants grow into large bushes and you will have to give up to count, how many flowers that would be in a flush.

The scent is amazing, I am indeed hooked! I have three others planted in the grown in a sheltered area along the side of our hot tub. These have yet to Y, so doubt I'll see bloom on these this year. I also have multiple seedlings ranging from 4 inches to 2 feet that I have yet to decide what to do with. :-)
Thank you for all the nice compliments....I owe all my sucess to all of you and the advice I've gotten here on DG.
I had never even heard of Brugs before this past February.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Rikerbear...just read this thread, and had to laugh...I never heard of brugs before this past March! And just look at me now!!! It doesn't take long to get hooked, does it?!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Rikerbear I never heard of them befor I joined here three months ago and now I have about 35 seedlings in a mini greenhouse, do your plants have a Y already, I thought they had to be bigger, sure hope most of mine lives to get flowers.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

No flush here, but I did wake up to 2 blooms and 2 buds on L'Amour, and 1 bloom and 4 buds on Miss Anna this morning. It's good to see some pink, instead of just my 2 huge Dr. Seuss blooming.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Those are sure cute. Nothing like your first brug blooms.

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Way to go, Rikerbear!! It's my first year too. Now we have to pick and choose our favorites, to try and winter over.
Around your hot tub is a perfect spot for these plants! Just relax and enjoy their scent!!

I'm excited for you, rikerbear!! Late last fall, I found a huge brug, with a big flush, blooming in my back yard, it smelled like heaven. I was hooked immediately, now I have a garden full. Continued good luck!!!

Thanks everyone! Since this pic was taken I have had a second 'flush' on a sister plant....12 blooms in all.
These were cuttings I recieved last March (?)....they are both only about 28inches tall. I would assumed they cam from higher up on the mother plant, above the Y section.
I will be taking these two and my largest seedling (24 inches, no Y) in to over winter in the house.
The three other cuttings are planted in the ground along the sheltered north side of our hot tub. They are all about 4 ft tall and loaded with buds, those should be the whites and yellows (CG I believe). I will attempt to over winter those where they are....taking cutting however just in case.
I'll post pix once they bloom.
Here's link to the other thread showing the big full on flush.

Beautiful plants with flowers. Are these from seeds or cutting, what is the age of these two plants?

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

These are both from Cuttings recieved early this past Spring. They rooted very quickly and were put in their pots in early May.
Depending on how well their sisters over winter here in Seattle, I may just put them in the ground next Spring and let them get get huge :-)

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Marc - just saw this thread! So Pretty! I can't wait for mine! :-)
