Hey y'all. Needless to say I'm from southern Virginia. I get my name id from my 1968 rb250 mastertone banjo. So I have a blugegrass greenhouse lol. I joined the site for all the wonderful information provided by excellent people, and the future trading of seeds.Right now the 18X36 plastic, wood A frame greenhouse is full of hibiscus, balloon flowers, foxglove, peace lilies, ficas, coleous, begonias, aloe, variety of cactus, sweedish ivy, petunias, cleomes, lantana, and a variety of tomato plants. Looking forward to chatting with y'all and exchanging seeds. I'll check my threads on my days off of work, so I will get back to whomever contacts me. (Yes I have a full time job on top of the greenhouse work.) Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Welcome to Daves, rb. Would love to see pictures of your greenhouse. I can't imagine having all of those plants in there right now. My little greenhouse is empty!! My yard is full!! Hope to chat with you another time. Have fun here at Daves. It is a great place.

Oh my gosh, what I couldn't do with that and a fat purse to pay the heat bill. I would be in heaven with something that size. Looks great. Thanks for posting the picture.

Welcome rb, glad to have you in DG. My daughter lives in Fairfax VA. She is comeing out west Sept 3 and we are going to do some playing around. Your GH looks great and must be full of plants. Mine is only 10 X 14, and not nearly big enough except when it is time to pay for the heating electricity. I don't keep plants in it the summer can't afford to try to keep it cool enought. Right now at 7:00 pm it is 98 outside. It is very difficult for me to keep my 2 1/5 acres of garden moist enough in this heat. Donna

Mike, every time I think of Danville I think of "The wreck of the old 97"

http://www.blueridgeinstitute.org/ballads/old97.html

Now you just tune up that Banjo and practice this song and let us hear you play it at the KY RU...with our other muscians!

I don't know the name, but I know some in Danville, but more in Martinsville or Collinsville.

You may email me if you have any questions...or you need any help navagating this site. *grin*( notice I didn't SAY any help with your gardening? That's 'cause I can't garden!) LOL Jo

Nice greenhouse!

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Mike, welcome to the best place on the Web. You'll fit right in with that wonderous greenhouse - no envy here just joy that you have it.... The high desert is no great place to have a greenhouse. Shade house more like it. ~Blooms
