This is a photo of Agave bracteosa, not vilmoriniana (an Agave that gets about 10x as large as bracteosa, and has bluer, more rubbery leaves)

I have noticed that some nurseries say that the Squid Agave does not die after it blooms, some nurseries say that yes, it does die after it blooms (like other agaves) and one nursery had it written on its discription that it DOES NOT die after blooming, while the nursery proffessional said he had never heard of that (not dieing thing) before. What do you think? Thanks, Mary

I've never been around one that bloomed, yet.
Maybe someone else reading this Has seen one bloom.

I've been told that Agave bracteosa doesn't die back after it blooms, but I have no personal experience.
