Just a pure white seedling ..

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

I like this one because last night as darkness fell, I looked thru the glasshouse and I could still see it. HA
And that it's colour is pure white.
I have a good number of this type flower this year in varying flower lengths and colours. This one is the best in the single 'pure' whites.
Unlike most everyone else, I love the white brugmansias.

Pretty white Alice. Is this from a cross you made? I'm getting so anxious to see all my seedlings from Monika, Kell, and Susie's crosses.

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, everyone.
New stuff this year will be all from my crossings.
Seedlings from others I am growing will be in next year's blooms.

Believe or no ..
this one is from a cross of Shredded White x Butterfly.
That cross has yielded some interesting stuff. LOL
I even got a new 'shredded' from seed in this lot.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

That is great. I never could find the stigma on my shredded white and sure couldn't get pollen from it. Alice, I love that canna that you have posted on Tropicals, I believe. Gorgeous. I'm going to be dreaming about that one. Hope you get it propagated to sell soon.

Good to see you, Alice :o) You're plants look great... as always. I bet you've had some interesting seedlings. You'll have to come back to share more pictures soon...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Alice, that would be wonderful. It would sit in a special spot in my garden. You don't owe me anything though. I'm just glad you had a few minutes to come to Daves and show us what you are growing these days. I'll bet your canna beds are gorgeous. Mine are just now starting to bloom really good. The brugs are a little slow this year too, but gosh, right now it is only 59 degrees. That is way too cool for us at this time of the year.
