Color everywhere!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

I went out yesterday to take a few pics and found this mg sneaking up with the trumpet creepers. I thought all the color was pretty! This is a corner by the storage barn that I have crammed many ee's, brugs, nannas and cannas into. They seem to like this place.

I was trying to take a pic of the castor peaking out of the pampas grass to see how tall it was. When I planted the castor beans this year, I didn't expect the pampas to grow so big (it's only the second year for it)!

The next 3 pics are coleus that I really like, but don't know their names! They came as cuttings from a friend, without names!

Does anyone know when that Ursela's Red Japanese Painted Fern will get color. This is her second year.

Great specimans Brinda! Love that last shot, all tropical looking. Is that nylons I see as stake ties?! LOL, softer that the twist ties I guess!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Brinda, great pictures. Wish I could grow that kind of pampas grass here, but it isn't hardy enough. Dang. I have my illustris ears in shade and they are almost black. I set them in saucers of water and they have grown like weeds. I'd show you a picture of my gardens, but it would embarrass me. Mine are just jungle for the most part. Many plants have now disappeared in all the foliage I have out there. LOL!

Thanks everyone and yes Root, that is a little Hilo! I had it last year and just stuck it in a dark room at work over the winter. I didn't expect it to come back, but it sure did. I was digging around and could feel a very large bulb. Cool....I really need to repot it, it is still in the original pot that I got it in.
