white hoya?

Excuse the ignorance, but I know nothing about hoyas. I have one growing the has white variegation to the outside of the leaf. However this branch is growing completely white. Does that happen often? Will it continue to grow this way?

Lisa,
I meant to get back to you about this. It can happen off and on but it generally goes back to its growing habit/coloration. They look really neat when they do this though. This is what mind does. I'm not sure what kind I have though.

Is this coming from a H. carnosa? I leave mine on, sometimes with the right amount of sun, it will also turn pink, depending on what cv. it is. I have managed to keep a completely variegated going for several years. That was my first Hoya, just like everone else, I can't imagine why I even kept it. LOL
The flowers are pretty and smell nice, to me like orange blossom out of season.

I bought a varigated Hoya at a nursery several years ago...at least that is what the tag said. It is grown indoors in my sunroom with some shade too. (Not too close to a window or it burns). Its leaves are white with some green, white, white with pink, white with a little lime green......very diversified. I love it although it grows much slower than my other Hoya.

Thank goodness, that it grows slower, count your blessings. Are the new viens red? Norma
