Copperleaf acalypha wilkesiana

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

This is a shrub that blooms midsummer to early fall. It is only for zone 10!
A beautiful shrub grown primarily for its large bronze-green leaves, which are mottled with shades of red, crimson, and /or purple. Foliage color will be boldest in full sun.
I visited a neighboring town nursery for lily plants and they were giving these out as a free gift.

I have one..It gets killed to the ground each winter and comes back from the roots..I always root a couple, just in case..Beautiful plant..

Would either of you be willing to send me a cutting from this?? It sounds beautiful!

I would be glad to share once it is cooler..I'm afraid a cutting would just wither away right now..Remind me..
