Lena and Maizie had a little farm E-I, E-I, O. And on that farm they had some Chickens and sheep. Here's the sheep! They are Barbados and came from a wild herd. They have hair, not wool. Now they are half grown and I have finally tamed them enough that they let me comb them while they eat their grain. In the evenings they come out of their field and follow me on a "walk-about" to the orchard. I sit and read a book under the pear tree, they scamper and play and eat. About twilight we meander back to their field and I tuck them in at dark. How I love the weekends when I have time to do that and don't have to work!
