As I'm in zone 3, and my daylilies are just starting to get to the big show, it will be a while till I have seeds. I'm trying some nice crosses. What were you thinking of trading? We can't send you plants fom Canada or visy versy.

Where is Cawston anyway when your at home? I guess she probably doesn't know to come back and check her thread or how to find it. I know that has happened to other new members. OK I found it. Another BC gloater, from the fruit belt.
Do you think they sense we are a bit jealous???

Ok, so I had trouble finding the thread again! BUT now I have found it.....Hey, this IS the banana belt here ;ya know! Course the last 3 weeks have been like this past Ontario summer...cold, dreary, wet....lousey....I did manage to buy a Darla Anita daylily, and am very pleased to have it! I did spend way too much and buy some seeds too (this is addicting as you know!), but found a 30-40% germination rate....seems low to me, especially when some of the others were bang on 100% germination! Oh well, I hope the seedlings will be worth it. AND am STILL looking for more daylily seeds...I prefer the Tets as they seem bigger and stronger - at least all the super colorful ones I have looked at seemd that way...

Where did you get daylily seeds?
I have some crosses that I made this year ,I have about 200 seeds ,some made there own crosses by bee's if you want some of those let me know I can tell you the pod parent plant but thats it ,shawn
