LOL... he couldn't stand quietly away once I got immersed in reading in the PDB and posting in Forums here, constantly pulling him over showing him pics and tips and talking about the great folks here, so we decided he needed his own nick after two months.
Please welcome the love of my life, newly addicted to DG and my 'significantly other one' (as he referred to himself when I allowed him to post under my nick), SO1!
*HUGS* n *kisses* love!
Donna/TuttiFrutti
P.S. Have you finished the watering and weeding yet? *giggle*
Greetings from the Inland Northwest... to my SO1!
hiya hunney!!! :D
so , umm... what now? do i thank you gratuitously for puting my nick in this forum? lol.... :D

(do ya get the idea that i'm a bit of a troublemaker?, heh, you should... :D )
(ps... my kinda trouble just gets ya riled up to respond with a bit of humor to my posts. n i'll refrain from any real blonde jokes.... unless yer blonde)
Arod (see profile for explanation)
oh... one more thin..... Donna? umm, yes dear, i have....
welcome to the love of Donna's life from Pakistan. So1 Enjoy here as every one is enjoying.
so1 - if you cause to much trouble we will just have to refer to you not as so1 but just donna's husband. lol. glad to hear you joined up with us. its really a great place.
Welcome! Since you already know about this place being addictive it's too late to warn you. Have fun!
Welcome to Daves. Hope you have a great time here.
hi gumlla... thanks for the welcome. i saw some picks of your yard in another forum, and i must say, i like where you live... :)
Herbie... well, spose that would be better than what some folks from other chatrooms n forums call me... lol
Mary... heh, i find the INTERNET addictive. as i posted elst-where, i've been online chatting for over 7 years now, n i can honestly say they can have my puter when they pry the keyboard from my cold dead fingers.... lol
Brugie... umm... i don thin that will be a prob.... lol
LOL @ Herbie!
I suggested "MisterTuttiFrutti", but I don't think he heard it. ;)
So1 welcome to DG. You will meet allot of wonderful people here. Enjoy.
hi rose... thanks for sayin hi. i've met a few already n i know i'll meet more... :D
Welcome to THE Garden...you will love it here. Jo
hey Jo... i'm already having a blast... lol TuttiFrutti lived in the Phoenix area for years. (she is my fiancee' ) where-abouts to that are you?
I think Donna is right "Mister TuttiFrutti" and for Donna"Mrs TuttiFrutti" ;)
Hi, SO1. I'm hoping that doesn't indicate there are others waiting in the wings - you know, SO2, SO3, SO4, etc! ;)
Howie at DG is my hubby. He was signed on as Gardenhubby for a while (by whom I'll never tell), but for some reason decided he couldn't bear that moniker and changed it.
hiya gardenwife!!! :D
and, no, there are no future plans for furthering the numbers... after all, it stands for 'significantly other' one. and always use the quotes, or its not gonna be understood right.
tell howie that i sympathize with him on that nick you had him sign in under. Donna n me woulda had to have one heck of a discussion on it had she planned to do that to me. lol... ;)
now... i have a q for ya...
your nick... does that mean you are married to your garden n poor ol defenseless Howie is just another tool in the shed?
*runs away n won't be back for days*
*reviews the above, n realizes it'll prob be minutes, but hey, it sounds good, right?*
:D Cheers!!!! Arod
I definitely feel I'm married to my garden, but that marriage is on the rocks a lot of the time. My marriage to Howie is great! He can water himself and if he has odd, unwanted things sprouting out his ears, he can do his own weeding. ;)
lol...
hmm... she equates his self-maintenance to a plant...
Howie... does she buy YOU garden implements at Christmas? did ya get a composter for yer birthday?
i'd be leary of this gal... she seems to have one, n ONLY one thin on her mind... lol...
j/k of course... :)
:D Arod
Actually, our gifts tend more toward computer toys! Funny, we were just talking about Christmas shopping plans, too. September's the month with an extra paycheck, so we have to start then.
Garden stuff is more from the maintenance budget (so next to nothing, LOL!).
so ya compare him to a plant n can run him off of a maintenance budget eh? heh, what a lucky find for you!!!
Howie... she finds ya with an extra paycheck n what does she do? SPEND SPEND SPEND...
ps... maybe you guys should start buyin fels-naptha by the case... that way you can start in May for them new garden tools.. lol... j/k... ps, thanks for that thread... :) you cut our budget here by a few $ a month.
(for those of you that don't know of it, go here... http://davesgarden.com/t/35195/)
above is a link to gardenwifes comments on a really great replacement for store-bought detergents.
now, where was i ... oh yeh, ranting n raging about ol Howies' mistreatment...
are you sure you didn't buy him a new hoe or spade for Christmas?
:D
Howie's theory is that presents should be fun, not things that we'd pick up at the store because we needed it. He never lets me live down the time I told my mom he'd love to get a bag of these new ceramic briquettes for his gas grill. Oh, my. It's a long-running joke in our household right now.
He did get me a nice rod and reel for my birthday last year, though. :)
hey!! thanks, i'll try that with Donna on her birthday this september... hmm... what do i want? oh,... how bout i get her a years' subscription to 'tuffstuff'... (its a sportscard collectors mag)... or say... hehe, a gift coupon to Lowes' hardware n garden?
oh wait... SHE LOVES THAT PLACE, WHAT AM I THINKING????
ok... i'm gonna need help here...
;)
*glances up at gardenwife's comment and starts looking in the classified ads for a replacement for SO1*
SOB (nope!)
SOD (could be useful for the yard)
SOL (pass!)
SOS (just got a new box of those)
SOX (dirty or clean?)
*sigh*
Guess I'll still stick with SO1. *giggle*
ummm...
do ya ever get the feelin ya may have stepped in sumpin?
lol...
Welcome from Oklahoma!!!
I can see you are having fun. That is great. Keep it up. It entertains me for sure.
Welcome to DG, Arod
I'm sure you'll love it here.....It's a great place...
