Any "cold hardy" brugs I might be able to get away with in my zone outside of the greenhouse?

FL, I live right outside of Memphis not far from Byhalia. I was visiting my old neighbor in Memphis last week and noticed the Charles Grimaldi I left had survived the winter. Of course I lived in the urban heat sink of Memphis and it was in a flowerbed by the house. But I think with mulch it would make it anywhare in this area.

I lived in MidTown for a bit and notice a BIG difference in some plants due to that heat sink you mentioned. Even my nana's brown out earlier here south of Memphis than they did when in MidTown due to all that concrete heat.
FL-especialy midtown and out on the 240 loop close to the airport it was more like zone 8. I have a Charles Grimaldi you can have. It's from the one I left at the old house so you could assume it has good provenance. I was going to make a brug tunnel this summer so I started about 12 cuttings last fall but never got around to it. My imagination was bigger than my energy level and bank book. LOL
Are you serious? wow - that would be fantastic. Makes that search pretty much painless. lol. I understand about the imagination/energy differential. I have that problem myself from time to time. How would you like to do this? I dont have much rooted right now that I am not using but do have a few things on my TL if you want to take a look.

FL-i I just moved here in February and still have plants in pots waiting to be planted. So you can just have a couple of the CG and I will catch you on the rebound. Guess I am plant rich right now. Do you know where Moscow is? You know how you can hop on 302 and it runs into Hwy 72. Then in Slayden you can cut across on Slayden Rd to Hwy 57 right outside of Moscow. I went to Olive Branch today and it took about 30 minutes so it is'nt too far and is all country scenery. I am on vacation until August 30th so time is pretty flexible for me. Will e-mail you my phone # and you can phone me tomorrow.
