Becca Lynn tonight

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Becca Lynn holds up very well in the heat. I have noticed this already last year. The color is that of a ripe lemon. It is very pretty. The fragrance is very nice.

Very pretty, Monika! That's what it's supposed to look like! I sure hope mine will do that well this year... if only the caterpillars will stop eating it.

Tom, I do have caterpillars on my brugs but not on Becca Lynn.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I may have to find this one. it is so pretty in lemon yellow!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Beautiful!!!! She is really putting on a show for you!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Great picture of a great beug Monika! Glad she is there in your care.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

When you think about it, Gloria would be so happy to see her brug in another country!

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Beautiful, can't wait for mine to bloom, nice to know it's Glory's also.
I'm with you again Tom, (have you been raiding my garden?)
the cats are having a field day on her.

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

Monika, it seems that German caterpillars have different preferences than American caterpillars. Let's hope they don't join forces or we will have no brugs left!

I'm glad to see that Becca Lynn is doing well in Germany. Does the EU have less stringent import rules than the US, so plants can go from the US to Europe easier than we can do the reverse?

Tom, you ask very good questions...

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I love Becca Lynn. Your plant looks great Monika.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Beautiful Monika ... she looks very happy there.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, she is beautiful. Mine has buds and I'm very excited about seeing her bloom in person.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Tom, plants imported to Germany need a accompanying Phyto and are inspected on the airport at the plant inspection station. Plants, covered by the Washington Protection, are not allowed entrance. They will be confiscecated.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, I finally got my first bloom on Becca Lynn. Gosh, she has nice tendrils. This is her first night open, so I hope she will color up a little. I also hope the bush will become loaded with blooms. She seems to be growing very tall and wide, but with too much space between nodes. She is in the ground and rarely gets fertilized. I'm afraid she would be 15 ft. tall if I fed her.

Beautiful Monika! I love Becca Lynn .. it was my very first brug. Shirley mine got around 7' ft tall before it finally flowered.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh my gosh. I'm sure mine will be that tall by the end of the summer. I would just like to see it look like the one Monika has posted.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful Monika.....it appears that it likes where it is. Gloria would be so happy to see how great it is doing for you.

Shirley....glad that she is blooming for you also.

Thanks, Shirley!!! Just returned from NYC, we had a wonderful trip, took 2 1/2 hours, non stop from Little Rock - can you believe that, whew!! We are off again tomorrow to take my daddy to Little Rock to see his docs and, following that, I expect to be home again for a while. I really like Dave's update, really fancy, huh??!!
