Going wireless? Help, Hints, and Tips!

Starting this to help those (me!) who are wanting to go wireless soon. I want to do this at home but I also volunteer at an animal shelter and want to network the computers there. Which means I'll be doing it on the CHEAP! :)

Come on all you wireless gurus, I'm counting on you guys to help! :) :) :)

Which routers are inexpensive but good quality?

Anyone do this with Linux?
