Hello Farmers!
It is good to see so many posting, for a while there, it was kinda quiet here.

Jewel, I am so glad to read the news of about your DH.

Evamae, take care of yourself!

Mary, that ride of yours must have been awesome!

It has been so hot here. Opressive comes to mind. I call it "vomit hot"..lol, 'cause it is so hot makes you wanna puke. The humidity has been just horrible and all the rain..I don't think it will ever stop! The other day we had 2.5 inches in an hour. It came down in sheets.

Sally woke up with spots all over yesterday. I thought it was chicken pox, but the Dr. seems to think different. I suppose when she wakes up in a few minutes, I'll know for sure what it was. If it was pox, she would be blistered this a.m.

Tonight I am cooking Jed & Jephro, the two roosters that their time was up last week. I made a deal with my hubbies helper-- if he 'did them in' he could keep 2 and I would keep 2. (I still can't 'do anything in' yet..lol, I am such a whimp!) Anyway, Jed & Jephro are ready for the pot. Don't know yet what they will turn into, perhaps Gumbo or Smothered Chicken w/butter beans..yum!

Yall take care,
Have a good day!
