Lilypon is your Jack Flash blooming yet? How about Peacock Fan and that morning glory Gypsy Jamboree? Did you start your pink iceland poppies? I didn't. Wonder if I should direct sow them now? Too late?
echoes
Jack Flash
No I decided to save all the seeds until next year...too much to do this spring and I wanted to give them the proper amount of attention.
Echoes please post pictures of yours...I would love to see them.
Ha Hah. If they ever bloom. Let's just say they didn't get the proper attention they deserved. Too long in the pots. With so much rain, I couldn't get the beds ready and I had WAY too much to look after. But I'm having fun. Hopefully they will bloom and set seed yet. I may have to build a house over them.
I'll show you some I started from seed last year. Here's Verbascum chaxii, Lychnis coronaria, and just the edge of Veronicastrum. All ordinary but necessary fillers.
They may be ordinary but they are very pretty, strong and healthy. I'm looking forward to seeing overall pictures of your garden echoes. :)
Echoes, you are amazing. How do you remember all those names. Makes me sick actually. To me most are just clematis, or ? or ? Actually, how come you don't know the entire name of your sweet william?? Hmm.....
Ginny going out to fight with fence wire before I get flamed.
Hugs
Cause it's not a perennial? Good enough excuse?
(edited for atrocious spelling)

Your sweet willy isn't a perennial?? Is it way different from mine that are?
It's Super Duplex. A biennial as far as I know. Most are I think, but they reseed so well, after the second year there are always some ready to bloom the next summer.
They are all very pretty but I LOVE Sabine Baur! Why is it a disappointment for you echoes???
I also love the water color look of Destined to See!
Sabine is not quite the way the catalogue pic represented it. But I still like it. I was going to put a few more of my new ones up and a few I thought you could grow for sure, but I'm trying to remember if I already posted some.
I'm patient! :) Where did you get Sabine and how much was it?
It is a very pretty yellow! Is the one that you are trying to give away Stella?
Methinks I will be visiting Lilies in the Valley next spring. ;) Please keep posting more pics echoes...my Dad is also a huge fan of Hems but hates how the tags/pics make them better looking than they often turn out to be.
It's nice to see the one's rated to our zone...I love looking at the ones that Shawn and Starzz post but I'm sure they would die a very quick death here!
Thank you! You're prob running out of allowable posts tonight but please keep it up if you have more! I'll be referring to this thread often. :D
Hyperion is one of Dad's favs...he had a large clump and lost it. He purchased another, marked Hyperion, but it wasn't the same. He will want to see this picture.
I'd give away Stella too, but it wouldn't be worth mailing to anyone, you can buy them so reasonably or more likely get a passalong. They are everywhere.
You like this one? I think it's Children's Festival. One of the first ones I bought.
I had to buy Hyperion more than once too. The first one was a horrible orange.

I *do*!
I wonder if Dad's old Hyperion was marked correctly...it seems to me they were very tall but had more rounded petals. I'll get him, the next time they are over, to look at your pic.
You guys have lovely lilies. I only have a couple, a white, and a pink. Can you tell I'm not into lilies as much as brugs, yet??
Linda
Yeah, cause you call them lilies. Just kidding!
Adding- But oh the lilies and/or daylilies you could grow there!
You really should.

Well done. The lilies and the pic sending.
I just ordered the cernuum lilies from Brecks. With their coupon it cost me 1.01. We'll see what/if they send.
