Any tips that I've overlooked? Water just as drying, outside on a covered north-facing porch (seems happy), and feeding occasionally. Nada in the bloom category.
Not that time of year? Don't know much about hoyas.....just the bare minimum.

Hoya doing well, but won't bloom! =(
I also have mine hanging on a north side area, they do get indirect bright light. I do fertilize regularlly. The are flowering like crazy, my H. kerrii for the first time this year, my Hoya mini bella the first time. H. Bella, H. Obovalata, shepherdii, campulata, multiflora, and several others. All in flower this year. Do you mist them? I live in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, low humidity. So I mist twice daily.
If you can get Eleanor's VF-11 do so, it helps them grow, flower, and put leaves on the bald vines, I noticed the differrence in two weeks. I only spray them with this product once a week.
Kathleen - sounds like you are doing everything right... If the plants are large, you can hit them with a 10-60-10 fert., and/or foliar feed them with a bloom booster.
What hoyas are they? Some like a lot more water than others.... :-)
I am with Carol and Norma on the misting. I use the bloom fertilizer, Eleanors, and often add a drop or 2 of Hormex to the sprayer. It just depends on what I have available and fell like should go into the mister! You will be amazed at the results by misting each time you have a minute. The results are well worth the effort!
You know, I've heard SO much about this Eleanor's VF-11 stuff.....I've finally going to have to give in & buy the stuff! lol Thanks ALL for your help and advice....looks like I might have a chance to get those blooms? =) I will up the feeding, GET that Eleanor's food, and mist when I can. I check on my back porch plants twice daily, and often peek on them in between (sad huh? I LOVE my plants.....and, my three little kids, but hey, plants give no lip! lol), so I'll be able to up those mistings.
I'll post my results ASAP--I SO hope I get some of those incredible looking blooms! Thanks, guys!

Okay, I'll tell you one that a friend told me. I haven't tried it yet, but I wonder.
He gathers up ants and puts them in a jar, when they die, he adds water and lets it sit and waters his Hoya with that. So help me, that is what he said. It's the acid that they give off. I was also told a few drops of viniager will add the same acid to the soil.
Some of our plants need lime added to their soil to keep the water sweet. I know people who have natural lime (mineral) water from a well, her plants are growing like corn.
Well all this stuff is worth a dry. My mother used Epsen Salts on her plants to get them to set flowers/fruit
By the way my H.lasiantha has set buds, X my fingers that they don't blast. If they flower you will be hearing a lot of crowing on this side of the fence, you betcha. LOL Norma
I hear of a fertilizer that has It's called Bloom made by Lquidnox 0-10-10 and really gets them to flower. They must be misted regularily though. This is a product used by the Hunginton Gardens as well. It really does a good job. Norma
Well, I've been misting for a few days now, and already, my little hoya has put on several new leaves! No blooms yet, but hey, I'll take the new growth too!

My experience is that hoyas like a fairly balanced soil, a smidge on the acid side. If your soil is alkaline, adding acid is a good idea...but you could wreck things if the soil is already acid.. Lime in the water simply neutralizes the acid in the soil...if her soil were already alkaline, it would probably kill the hoyas. It all depends on the pH of the soil...in my experience.
