Not a Pink lol

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Goldrausch has almost finished her first flush. This Multihybrid is not prone to SB even though, she has the highly prone Charles Grimaldi as parent and grandparent.
Apparently, Goldrausch is completely sterile.

The color is golden yellow. The color can be seen on the flowers, which are in the shade of the leaves.

Is it really?
Do you know why?
What makes one sterile?
Even the pollen is no good?
am I asking dumb questions again....

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

CC, I would ask the same dumb ones!!

I want to know with all your climatic adversity, how come your brugs still look so much better than mine Monika???

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

I like the colors on this brug. Im anxious to see the answers also. Always something wonderful to learn here.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Ditto on the questions, I usually just sit and hope someone else ask...

I am like everyone else in that I would love to see a versi- yellow, do you think this is a possibility?

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

God lord! What size pot are you keeping them in? They're trees!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very nice. Yes...me too Tracey. Would love to have a yellow versi.

This is not a versicolor! It is a suaveolens x versicolor type hybrid. These hybrids are often sterile like Glockenfontäne and Nova. Goldrausch produces only a very small amount of pollen.
