Hello from Houston,Texas

in Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi everyone!

I moved to Houston,Texas five years ago from South Jersey. I am married with four children, and two grandchildren. I am also a nurse. My hobbies are gardening, music, and playing cards. My friends recommended DG site to me, and I am so glad I joined. :) I am now in the process of collecting epiphyllum (orchid cactus), vines, tropicals, and unusual plants of all kind. I just need a bigger yard! LOL. I am very blessed to have a devoted hubby who understands my passion for gardening. I am looking forward to learning and discussing gardening with my fellow members of DG.

Happy Gardening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am amazed by how many plants in my own country I have never seen, and now I am learning about them. I am also interested in learning more about gardening in other parts of the world. Thank you Gullma for the warm welcome to DG. Take care .
