After frantically trying to get some Kong Coleus sent to me, Diva was great and packaged them up and sent them on... I was so happy, thinking that at the Master Gardener Plant sale we would Ace everyone.
NOT! If only I had visited WalMart more often! They have HUGE plants of Kong (yes, all varieties) in a 4" pot...$2.50 each.
Just pays to check EVERYthing out! They were grown by a nurserman friend of mine, as well.
Darn.
They still are beautiful and I love mine even more!!!

Yes Aloha I got the awesome box you sent me - thanks esp. for the costus and the pineapples! My kids very excited to get box from Hawaii too (cept they are always disappointed that its "only plants") Now I feel terrible that you could have gotten Kongs without so much trouble! Figures ole Walmart would catch on to a new trend fast - they don't suck our wallets dry for nothing. sorry I didn't get back to you abou tyour box but the dog got hit by a car that day and has been in hospital :(( Policeman too! Stopped for a minute and then took off!!! Lives right down the street! Can you believe? Vet bill $800 and counting...
At least you can get some laughs at the sale telling the tale! "Adventures with Kong" :)
Diva, I'm so sorry for your doggy. How is he doing?
Goodness, Diva...you mustn't feel terrible...it was I who jumped the gun! Your Kongs are better anyway because they came with Aloha! Next time I fall in lust with a plant I have to check with that nursery...they are very innovative and usually have top stuff...
