If we are including the little Wally world african violets I would be interested. I have 10 of them and they are very pretty.

I would love to have a forum for African Violets -- I have a few that are doing well, and I like to propogate new ones from leaf cuttings -- always looking for some different ones. Mine do well in basement windows in my family room, which faces East. They seem to thrive there. Everyone who sees them thinks they are silk flowers!! Let's get that forum going!

I am sure that my friend, Mailman, would love to see a forum for violets. His wife grows a lot of them. I'll try to get them over here.

I got bit by the African Violet bug in the winter. Now I've got about 15 or 20 of them! I'd buy more, but I'm out of room!

Hey,
I would love to see this forum added! I have about 30 african violets and several sinningia's. I have grown them on and off for about 15 years. Oh, also I have Rhizotamatous(sp?) Begonias, Rex Begonias and Angelwings. They are wonderful greenhouse plants too!

Hiya Dimmer,
Glad to see you are doing so well with the AV's...
You will probable have to make your own seed pods by pollinating your flowers yourself. Not many AV's will self -pollinate because of the way the flower parts are formed.

I posted a link to a web page with some very good information on the procedure in the AV forum, but to save you time here is that link.

Please join us on the African Violet forum
Thanks MsC..
