Suzanne is starting...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Up until now, I've only had a few blooms, but she is going to put on a show shortly. I love the size of the blooms, the color, and the fragrance. In fact, last night when I walked into the yard, her fragrance drew me right to her. She is in full sun.

I'm thinking I need to make a road trip.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Wow! She really is outstanding! Im glad you are getting some blooms there Shirley!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Liz, my brug leaves aren't looking very good right now. I'm losing lots of leaves to yellowing and think I have a fungus thing going on with some. I've searched high and low and can't find spider mites. I'm going to give them a shot of Avid when the weather clears up, just in case. It is only the ones in pots that are doing this. New growth looks good.

It is so pretty!!

I'll join you on the road trip Liz. See you next week. LOL

Come on down you guys. I have a deck chair with your name on it.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Gosh, I was kind of hoping that you had a brug with my name on it. But a chair is nice while I beg.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

If you come to visit, I guarantee you that you won't have to beg for anything. You can have starts of anything I have.

Ditto Shirley.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Suzanne is a real beauty. When I got mine, it only had a couple blooms before our daily rains of 2 1/2 weeks came. I thought that I had lost her along with some others but I took her out of the pot and put her in the ground. She is coming back and I am thrilled. I remember seeing Tracey's and could not believe how big the plant and blooms were.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Looking sooooooooo good! Hope you feel much better today Brugie! I am thinking of you!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Kell. You all don't have to worry about me. Muscle spasms are painful, but they aren't going to kill me. LOL! Frannie, everything about this plant is good. I need some 90 degree weather to test her staying power while in full bloom, but otherwise, I'm loving her a lot.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I took a picture today of her, but I use 35 mm, so you all will have to wait, it was a first day bloom laying beside Creamsickle, pretty close in size. Finally with the cooler weather I am seeing color on Creamsickle but it has lighten Susanne just a tad.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Shirley, what happened? How did you get muscle spasms? Overdoing the lifting or what? You just work entirely too hard.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh my Shirley....I love her! Please, post more pics!

Tracey....we need your pics also!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'll post more when she has more blooms open.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Can't wait!
