Anyone have any Black Bamboo or for that matter - any bamboo for trade or SASE? Will take a big clump or a small one, willing to pay for shipping if heavy. All I can find around here are the small varieties and I want to try some of the bigger ones.

I bought some tiny sprouts off Ebay last year and all have survived. I have them in a 5 gal plastic nursery pots and they are now about 2.3-3ft tall with nice foliage.

I almost hate to do this because what with our dog getting hit by a car :() I don't know when I'll have time to do this trade but (deep breath) I do have black bamboo. The big one. There are small clumps of "babies" around the main clump that I could dig and mail. Moretz I checked your TL do you have any seeds left? Ya'll let me know what you have and I'll try and get motivated to get out there and dig those babies up. I'm not really mercenary just extremely tired what with taking car of our dog and 3 traumatized kids and its 100 degrees here and I just said yesterday "no more gardening till fall!!!" But I love trading so maybe this will perk me up. Black bamboo is gorgeous - absolutely my fave bamboo. Course mine hasn't really gotten invasive - yet.
Ya'll please check my TL and see if there's anything else I have that you want while we're at it - I prefer doing multiple trades. Got salvias coming out my ears right now and lots of other stuff.

I would be interested in a small start also. I have nothing on your want list either. Do have some hostas for trade. Also a dozen glads in a mix. Have some other things. And there is no hurry. Sorry about your dog and the kids pain. I have been thru that and know how hard it is. Shirley
