Gilmer, TX

I've been painting birdhouses again and have lots of apple gourd seeds available. Would like to trade for other gourd seeds or something else fun, but will also SASE. If interested, just e-mail me after posting here. Pam

If you still have a few available I would love to exchange something.
I have seen these at many craft show. The latest were carved for candles!
Does anyone know what tool is used for such delicate work? I would love to try it.

Vicki...I will see what kind of gourds seeds I have this week end. Jo

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Jo, do you paint gourds? I saw some beautiful ones in Berea,KY at the Art Festival.

Crossville, TN

I TRY! I am a "copycat" painter...have to copy a finished product before I can paint it. I have been wanting some pieces of deer antlers....to no avail. Yesterday morning we were doing some remodel work and just beside my shed was a 5 point antler that some "dear/deer" brought me and left there...I guess he was just in my area when he decided it was time to loose and antler!! My GAIN. Now I want to use it on a big gourd. Jo

Hi, any left, they look like lots of fun, I grew a bunch of easter egg gourds
they grew like mad but are too big to look like eggs, they are now dog toys. I need one I can do something with. Thankyou Carol

Gilmer, TX

I have plenty, these babies make lots of seeds. What were you wanting to do with them, I may have some others you could use. Pam

Crossville, TN

Vee....Dog toys? The stuff inside gourds are bad for you...they even recommend that you wear a face mask when cutting into them...be careful! Jo

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Catlady, which gourd seeds are you looking for?
I received mine.
Thanks

Wouldn't they be about hte right size to paint as Christmas Ornaments?

They should make lovely ornaments...I used the wild Buffalo gourds and made some.....Jo

Renton, WA(Zone 7a)
