Will Have Bottlebrush Bush

hiram, GA(Zone 7b)

Taking orders for Crimson Bottlebrush Bush. Getting ready to root some cuttings....anyone need a few? Will probably be ready to safely mail in September. Hardy to zone 8, according to southern living. Looking for butterfly bush (yellow, white, red, pink)

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

I have Summer Beauty butterfly bush I could root for you. Some say it is a better red than Attraction, which is supposed to be the best red. But, to my eye, they both look deep pink at best.

I also have a variegated purple.

Rik, tell you what, I can pack you a bunch of cuttings in with your cannas, and you can pack me a bunch of cuttings in my box...sound good? Heck, if you're bored during the day, and want to add to your collection of cannas, I could always use a hand moving some around and you could take some home.

I'm up for just about anything! I just got a bunch of plants I've been waiting for; so I will have a solid couple of days of potting. Let's make a plan!

hiram, GA(Zone 7b)

Cool, just went through 1/2 bale of promix in the last 4 days potting up plants myself. A friend sells it to me for $14 a bale so it's affordable to use it that way. Once you wet it down good, it really holds the water well, and the plants seem to like it too. I'm getting ready to start moving daylilies and ginger around.....so going to be butchering some overplanted beds to give them all space to properly clump, wish me luck.

Daylilies! You didn't mention daylilies! What time is it? Can I get there before dinner?

hiram, GA(Zone 7b)

probably not, but you can get here during the day any day. I'm digging out the ones that have the 4' to 5' scapes on them and are double orange...I posted those...I also have to move a few named ones around as well. I overplanted everything and need to till new beds and get stuff better organized...and you'd probably get a kick out of my hubby's yard art too.

I'm moving a small clump riker, but if one happens to break off accidentally on purpose, since I only have 3 stalks, I'll save it for you specially Marc. I'll see what I can come up with. Finally cut the bloom stalk off your hosta today...looks so much better without it. Got anything pink or purple to share Marc?

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Did the rose stay purdy for you this Summer? Sure hope so....
As for other purple/pink things, well not really....most everything is to new to devide as yet.

hiram, GA(Zone 7b)

The rose is finally starting to really put on foliage, her flowers are beautiful and we love them...and even had some floated in a bubblebath.....I"ll see what I can do to get you a ginger Marc. Rik, you need to email me.
