5+ buds on Pink Beauty!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I brought the camera out to get shots of the guys taking down a big broken tree limb from our cherry tree and got sidetracked.

Lookie here -- I was so tickled to see these today! I'd seen a couple buds, but they were only 1/2-3/4" long. They're really taking off now!

They look like okra.

One of the tree guys. :) I was just getting up from the brug pot when I saw him heave-ho on the rope. He was counter-balancing the tree limb as it descended.

I got up, turned around from tree guy and saw THIS. Caught the little demon red-handed. Look at the holes in my poor brug's leaves. The critter (a katydid?) went in the fish pond. ::evil grin::

Those guys were awesome. In addition to the limb on the cherry, they removed two half-rotten maples from the front of our house. They also whacked down the nasty barberry at the corner of our driveway and trimmed back the sycamore limb which rubbed the cabletv line. We played phone tag for about 2 weeks, but it was worth it in the end!

Gosh, I just about missed this GW, seems like everyone has decided to bring back all the old threads for some reason. I wish we could just see the new threads, I hate to miss out on new pics!

Didn't I tell ya she's a good one? With your photography skills, I just can't wait to see pics of your blooms. Your home looks just lovely, where did you plant PB?

Thanks, you guys! Vi, Dave's made it so we can choose the number of threads to show up per page -- you can have as many as 100 threads per page. Of course, the page will take longer to load with that many lines on it, but if it's manageable to you, it will let you see more of the new threads.
