It Bloomed!

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

I couldn't believe it. I was out this afternoon and thought it would bloom tomorrow... I went back out a couple of hours later, and they were open!

I've got Y's all over the place now, this thing is just loaded!

It's still short and stocky, not nice and tall like some of yours that I've seen, but the blooms are gorgeous. My hubby and my daughter both fell in love with it.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It is very pretty Melissa. It should be very fragrant.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Great looking Yellow,I wonder which one it is?

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

I wish I knew... I bought it, and it came with no tags on it.

:-(

Does Charles Grimaldi sound right? I'll have to find the email I got from the guy I bought it from. But, I think I bought a Frosty Pink and a Charles Grimaldi.

It's obviously not pink... LOL

These two are doing sooooooo much better than the ones I bought and put in pots! Those have tags;-) Versicolor Orange and Tropical Sunset. But, I doubt either of them bloom this year. :-(

and oh Kell.... you're so right about the smell.... I can smell it from 20 feet away!
Thanks for all the help you've given me with this!

Thanks Monika... it certainly adds "something" it's just so striking!

How long will the blooms last? We're having a BBQ this weekend, and I'd love to be able to show it off!

I was surprised that it bloomed as cold as it is here right now.... 62 degrees in JULY!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Oh Melissa!! Congratulations! It looks great! LOL Im just tickled for you!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It could be CG.

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

That is what I ordered... the email I got back when there were no tags said I could tell the difference because CG had a toothy edge. This has that... so I guess that is what it is!

Thanks all!!
