Hey, looking good. That pale pink one looks like Cool Blush. It was a good bloomer and set seed easily. Hey....I'm not done with your new obsession yet. Don't get too comfortable with the ones you have. LOL!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Very nice mailman! There is no stopping you now.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey Phil, do you think that lake water is helping them? Thanks for the special delivery to my mailbox today. We all can't wait to get them growing.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5a)

It starts out with one bruge.Three years later I have thinned down to 50 plants.I need more land ,more pots ,more soil mix.If someone could get Ted Turner to start growing these ,Montana would be a sweeter smelling state in just a few years.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5a)

Shirley,I had a suspicion this would be a good day for you.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Tickled me pea green.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

So you are the deliverer of good things. Emails are flying far and wide. Wait until you see Shirley's brugs next year!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

He is doing very well Liz. He knows how to collect pollen and to pollinate now, so I expect to start hearing about seed pods hanging from his plants real soon.

just found a thread talking about using epson salt mixture to dicourage slugs.does it work?I have been using slug bait ,but with the weather lately it mildews and I dont want it to start rotting the stalks.

Welcome to Dave's and the addiction, Mailman.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hi Mailman let me know what Beanie Babies you are looking for. I volunteer at a mission store and we get TONS of Beanie Babies in. Most with all their tags I can keep my eye out for you. We price them at 50 cents each and never have enough room for them all. Recently we got two large garbage bags of McDonalds small beanies still in their wrapers in.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Welcome mailman, great looking brug.I see Shirley got somebody else hooked too. Another beanie collector too. Wow! What ones are you looking for?

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Welcome mailman. You are so lucky to have Shirley on your route, she's one of our favorite Brug mentors ! I'd love to be able to see and smell her yard every day! Your Brugs look so healthy! We love seeing your pictures!

Hi Linda,
Glad you jumped in. I had forgotten that Phil was going to be gone this week until I noticed he was delivering the mail today. Hope you are keeping those brugs happy while he is gone. Wish you could come out and see what all is blooming in my yard right now.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

And please give Phil my phone number,Shirley has it,if you talk to him, tell him call me while he is in town.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5a)

Shirley, tried to call but line is busy - wonder why! Could you call me at 5991 with rootdoctor phone number when you get a chance and I will pass it along to Phil tonight. thanks. My brug baby sitting was going fine until the storm - had a number take a little roll towards the lake!! Good thing there was not too much damage or I would be fired for sure.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sorry Phil. I've had company for days. Just didn't get back to this thread until today. I'm glad Linda was able to get ahold of me though.
