Are these too big to move?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I just stuck things in the flowerbeds when we moved here. Things needed in the ground and I didn't take the time to think out how it would look when they grew. I'd like this banana moved back about three feet so the ears up next to the pool deck won't be crowded and shaded by it. Is this one too big to move? It's been in this spot for about 6 months.

Here is a front view, see how close it is to the edge of the flowerbed?

suz, is that the ones I sent you when you lived in TN?

Here are some ears, alocasia mac and portadora. They are too close to the sugar cane which is too close to the brug. I know I can cut the sugar cane back and move it(which I'm going to do), but what about the ears? Will I kill them by moving now?

Lisa., these came from Peggy and Larry. Those you sent had a bad experience the winter before I moved.
Here is a front view of the purple sugar cane and the alocasia mac ear. See how crowded it is? It's little ears keep getting all mangled.

Wow, great plants there. I moved some ears the other day, not as big as yours, but they pouted for a couple of days and look fine now. That banana is pretty big to move during the heat would be my guess, but since I don't have to deal with your kind of problem, I can't be counted on for a good answer. LOL! Those Macs are gorgeous.

Oh I so want to live with you Susie! LOL I cannot believe the size of those! Looks like basjoo has babies too. Will you leave them clumped or do more plantings? Everything looks so awesome! How long have you been there now?

It is looking very, very beautiful and tropical, you have done great job with the flowerbeds. Those Bananas are looking great over there, I cannot understand why you want to move them anyway:)
Well, I dont really have very much experience, but I think it could be done. Rootdoc moved some pretty big bananas on last fall without problems, I think;) But if you try that, be careful, because they must be really, really heavy.
Btw, if pup, we could do a trade:)

Brugie, I couldn't believe how big that mac got! It's huge at the bottom, but the cane is beating it pretty bad so the leaves don't get to stay pretty.
Chele, we moved in Jan 2nd. I tried to separate out some of the basjoo babies, but ended up breaking them. If I move this one, it might be easier to get the babies off, but then that would mean taking more soil off........I just don't know, lol.

I'd move them,be sure to dig far enough out from the stalk, and soak them good, keep good water on them after the move, and remove some top growth, you will be fine!
That Portadora looks great, they all look great!

Wow Susie....what a tropical paradise! I know you're looking for answers, but I'm just LOOKING! Everything looks wonderful!

Thanks Doc. I was hoping you'd come along with answers.
Brinda, you should see how my "dwarf" banana has grown, lol. I'm glad I've got it in the spot where I wanted it.
