Has anyone harvested lotus seeds. My seed pods are drying but the seeds are not hard. They are brown but you can squish them if you try. Are they supposed to be rock hard?

Hello Charlotteda,fertile seeds should have a hard seed coat.
The seeds you have may be infertile.You might try asking this question over in the propagation forum too.
