My unknown Hibiscus

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Does anyone have any ideas what this one could be? I know there are alot out there, but Im just hoping to ID it.
There are (please PLEASE forgive my naivety) 4 sets of anthers?? that Im seeing. There is no scent, it starts out before it blooms completely peach/orange in color, then when its fully open a very bright yellow.

I don't know what it is Shelly, but it sure is pretty!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

She is very pretty Shelly. I have one I'm trying to get an ID on too. I'll have to put a picture up on it. Hope you find out who this little beauty is. By the way, I think it is normal for them to have several sets of anthers/stigmas. My doubles did a couple of years ago.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That is so pretty, Shelly. Can you root them? Would love to trade.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Thanks ladies! lol Brugie, I didnt know if that was normal or not, lol obviously I have no clue about hibiscus at all.
Hibiscus.. lol are you asking if I can root them?? Tell me how, and I will give it my best shot, and I would love to trade.
Here it is in the "daylight"

It's a beauty shelly where did you get it? I got my last three from the supermarket bargain table. flowers had finished, hence the markdown table, so i was surprised when they bloomed to see what colors they were. I also have two peach and one red double. One of the peach ones is 4 1/2 tall and trained as a standard. I love them all.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I had one exactly like this called butterball. There is another one with a different name but I can't remember it.
I love the double yellow and the double off white. It is called elephant ears. go figure

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Thanks Gardenmart, I got it at a local nursery here. Gosh! I wish our supermarkets sold Hibiscus! All we get are AVs, and vines. :o)

Thanks Sandy! I will go see how close that is to mine! Hope things are well with you.

Shelly
You are beyond words. Sure no problem. The heat here is making it hard to keep things alive. Tommorrow to be 113 with heat index. 105 today. I had to run errands and in and out of the car it sure heats up in between. We really need rain. I set out the sprinklers last night. DH was going to mow and rake pine needles (they are thick) And cut his toe Fri. and could not do it. It needed stitches but I used a hard piece of plastic for a splint as it was on the joint of his big toe. Put on antibiotic ointment and taped it up. Sat. the dressing fell off and he kept it still and monday not problem back to work in his work boots. God is Good. I told him I would stitch it if it came to that, as an emergency room ded was 100.00. I was serious. My SIL stitched up my nephews head when he was little because of no insurance. Just with plain thread. Sometimes the things that happen hear sound so crazy to be true. Did I tell you lightning struck our house 2 months ago? Second time in 2 years. This time came thru electric and phone. Took out our cordless phones, modem, fried dish tv box, and something on satelitte dish, Phone box outside was burnt black, Garage door opener. You know these things seem too far fetched to be true. We live with our garage door open as we have a 16 ft wood door you could not open and close by hand. They tell me it is the first to go when lightning stricks your house. This time we will get it a surge protector.
Thanks for the TLC.
Eclipse you are very sweet. I love everyone here I have so much family.
I go to see this doctor for the test on the 15 th. My birthday is friday the 13th. No such thing as bad luck when you have Jesus we just stump our toes alittle on big rocks sometimes.
My first grandaughter, Gwyneth-means blessing, was born on friday the 13 in oct 2000 and that is truely what she is. destiny was born on oct the 8th 2002, not sure the weekday. They spend every other weekend with us. DS and DIL like it and so do we. This is our arrangement not theirs and Gwyneth always wants to go to church. Destiny does she is just not asking yet. She loves it though. We call her munchkin. She will be 2 in oct. and is only wearing 12 months. She is so petite. And the looks she gives when you correct her. She thinks she scares somebody.
Sorry to rattle on. They are a light in the storm. Thanks Shelly. What color angel trumpets do you have?
Didn't think I would forget? LOL Just teasing.
Blessings,
Sandy

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Not much else I can do sometimes. Sometimes I just have to laugh I sometimes seems too funny that it keeps coming. Then the onther night I cried for awhile. In everything life deals Jesus is Good. He is my strengh.

Sandy
