Thought it be only appropriate .. to share a few pics with you guys .. (just in case you're ever up in our neck o'da woods) .. near Clarksville, Arkansas - to share our day @ the Peach Pickin' Paradise orchards !! Even had their very own DRIVE THRU !! .. hee ..
This place .. is about a 45 minute drive south for us ..from our home near Deer, AR. Were able to see quite a few other folks' veggie and flower gardens on the drive 'down' also! .. Always refreshing!
Ahh, some may say we're cheating a bit .. since we have a few Peach trees here at our home place!
But, since we've sorta been overwhelmingly 'compelled' to 'donate' the trees and any harvest of our peaches .. to the Black Bear family (see > http://davesgarden.com/t/444793/ ) - we thought it best to go elsewhere!! Hee
We 'cheated' further .. and purchased some that were already picked tho'. Cost a few bucks more than pickin' 'em ourselves - but at least, we did manage to keep our fresh smell about out our bodies, when we went to eat lunch at a local seafood buffet, afterwards!!
We've decided, that next time - we'll definitely pick our own tho' !!!
Made plenty of Peach Cobblers and Pies for the family and put some in the freezer too!
