This is a cross I made last year but didn't expect much from it. I was having trouble getting pollinations to take because of the heat, so I put some Ecuador Pink pollen on a pale pink Suaveolens that I have just on a whim to see if I could get it to take. It did, and I was able to get 2 seedlings to germinate from the batch.
Here are the seedlings right after germination.
One of my own babies
May,
That is beautiful! Great Job!
Can't say I see any suav or EP influence. Are you sure you did not mix the seeds Mary? The anthers look fused? But my rosamond has the same anthers also.
LOL PS! I love it!

These seeds were germinated in a flat all by themselves, out of the whole flat only 2 germinated, and were then potted up to individual pots. I am positive I didn't switch the seeds, and was very careful about labeling them when potting up. Some prankster may have switched the name tags, after they were potted up into individual pots, hopefully not, that would be so mean.
I agree that it certainly looks out of character for that cross.
You did a whole flat of Frosty seeds Mary? Oh to have so much room!
Mary, very pretty. I am too much of a beginner to know what a seedling from your cross should look like to make any comment on that. I haven't done any crossing myself this year. Too hot when I did have blooms that minght take. And now again very hot. Maybe later in the summer. Anyway congratulations on your seedling. Donna
Pssstttt ! Mary ....... ;-) I have one of your PPS x EP seedlings.
