I simply bought packages of wildflower seeds this year and scattered them. I have many of these growing in my garden. I want to say it's some sort of hibiscus; however, my seed package doesn't have hibiscus listed at all. These flowers are 3-4 feet in height, broad leaved with beautiful small very pink flowers as you will see in the photo. Can someone give this its proper name to help me tell others what the heck I'm growing?
Tell me what this is please!?
Looks like a malva of some kind.
Welcome to Daves. You will find that there is an ID forum that you might want to put your picture on for positive ID. Glad to see you here and hope you enjoy your time in Daves Garden. Be careful...it is addictive. LOL!

Wow! Thanks for everyone's help, it is greatly appreciated. Lavatera - Rose Mallow it is. I think they're beautiful; a few are only 2 feet tall, but I also have some at least 4 feet tall. As far as being crazy, yeah I suppose some might say I am (good crazy that is)! Bourbonnais is about a one hour's drive south of Chicago (in case anyone is interested) and I do love Chicago! I am, however, a native of Cincinnati (another city I am fond of - hi Cincinnatians!). Enough for now, back to the garden ... and thanks again!
Welcome Woohoo, that's right purty malva you got there. Hope you keep having that kinda luck with your gardens. Guess your weather's been more co-operative than some.
