Snow on the Mountain 'Kilimanjaro' (Euphorbia marginata)

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello Happenstance, that is a beautiful picture of Snow on the mountain.
I live in Arlington Texas, and I have been wanting to find seeds for this plant for a while. Can you tell me where I might find them? I would be very grateful. Sincerely, Josephine Keeney.

Minneapolis, MN

I would also like to acquire some of this Euphorbia.
I am in zone 4 and would seed them, I don't think they are hardy in my area.
Thanks.

This is a new plant for me this year, I'll be interested to see if it acts like a perennial for me here in 10a. I don't have any seeds yet, like many of the Euphorbias the flowers are very long lasting.

Here are a couple of vendors on the internet that offer seeds to this cultivar:

Euphorbia marginata 'Kilimanjaro' is also available from Johnny's Select Seeds ($2.70/packet) and Wuv'n Acres ($2.50/packet) And JL Hudson offers the species (E. marginata) - for the princely sum of $1 per packet ;o)

I am growing this for the first time also this year. I got my seeds from Johnny's.

I love it so far!

Wow! terrific response. Thank you Happenstance, Terry and Studley,
I will check out these sources and report later on my progress.
You are all very kind.
Sincerely, Josephine Keeney.

My mother used to grow this one as an annual in Indiana many years ago (perhaps not this cultivar), and I've tried growing it here, but it just doesn't like our cool wet summers. Thanks for the lovely picture!
