Leonotis menthafolia..its only 20 inches high and covered with buds.....small to tiny leaves and never gets real tall.

I have grown leonotis leonurus before..it gets too tall here some as high as 12 feet.
I have this one and no sign of buds yet, but it is kind of lost in the flower bed and probably not getting nearly enough sun.
I wanna try the leonotis leonurus just to freak out the neighbors. Anything to get people talking. LOL

Mine bloomed and then is just nice frilly foliage. should I cut off the old blooms to maybe get it to bloom again? What do you fertilizer wise? Someoen suggested cutting it all the way down to the earth....seems a bit drastic. Mine is about 15" tall and seems to remain at that height.
They're supossed to like alot of nitrogen. That's all I know.
