This is Clare Mills X Hertzenbrucke the plant is barely 3 feet tall now. Both parents have large flowers so will be curious to see what shows up! :-)
First seedling of 2004 to bud up
What would be your wildest guess as to what will come from the cross? White? Yellow? Short or long tendrils? I think I better go check mine.
Short tendrils and probably a white to pale yellow flower..I love guessing what we might get..and then having my hopes dashed on the shore when they bloom ugly!!!!!! LOL :-)
I hope I can prove your guess wrong. Would love to see a nice yellow with long tendrils that has good staying power, bug resistance, and a few other good qualities. I want one with it all. LOL! Can I add cold hardy to -20 degrees?

you dreamer!! LOL
Well, dreams can happen. Hey, Doc had one come back from the roots in zone 6, outside, so it is getting closer.
That is pretty good Brugie! Good luck Kyle. I hope you get a winner!
I have 2 came back in the ground in zone 5. They are Erics' seedlings, didn't bloom in time last year, so have no idea.
Please post pictures, when they are open.
I will be trying a few more in the ground this fall.
I think Kyle needs to take some more pictures!! Since my seedlings are no where near blooming, I'm living vicariously thur you guys' seedlings!
I agree! What is happening now?
Still about the same..they get slow at this point it seems..you guys will be the first to see pics..will no doubt be white as I can cross red x red and get all white!!! LOL
:-)
Kyle, I got real good at making white brugs too! Plus, it never fails that the ones I decide to keep are always white.
Kyle,I have been looking for your Basil and Ivory soap recipe can you post here,or Email me,I am going to try it.
