I can't wait for more blooms! There's at least 6 buds.

That is pretty! I have the double one that color. It doesn't smell. I have a white one, single, & it smells wonderful!
Mine hang down after blooming, I thought it was the heat.
My blooms are only lasting one day. Drats!

fMy datura blooms are still holding up instead of hanging even tho it is very hot and i had to sprinkle them. i would rather use soaker hoses but the problem with my new well doesn't allow soakers. I am use a mister sprinkler and leaving on all night, uses 23 gal. per hour, soakers use about 2 or 3 times that much water. My pretty double-triple yellow that I got from Root is very pretty right now. Donna

I have a well also. The water pressure is so low it takes half and hour to fill the bathtub- I love my baths!- Watering the garden with the hose-forget about it!

So how do you water? Gosh, I use thousands of gallons a month to water my flowers. I'd hate to carry it all. This year I found the quick connects for my hoses and that helps a lot.

We have them on also, but I think it makes the pressure even lower.

I just use the watering can (2 gallons) for all the potted plants and I have a deck full. It takes about 5 fillings to get them all done! Sometimes I break out the hose but I always worry about emptying the well. Can that happen??

I remember living on the farm and the well would go dry. One of our neighbors has a well and raises cattle with no pond, so he goes to town many times a day with a big tank and fills it to put in his well. If your well has never gone dry on you before, and unless you are using more water than usual, you probably don't have to worry.
