Clematis 'Ladybird Johnson' (Clematis texensis)

Delaware, OH

How lovely, any special needs beyond the usual for Clematis?

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

No special needs at all. This is a young plant I can't wait to see it in a couple of years. I have it on my garden arch so hoping in a couple of years it will cover it good.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I would love to see it when it does! Very unusual to me!

Kell I am sure we will both still be here in a couple of years so you will get a picture for sure. lol

I love this little bloom and greatly admire the First Lady it was named after. The Texas wildflowers are gorgeous and I wish all the states could adopt this program to beautify America. Thanks for sharing your photo!
