Beautiful Root!

She looks great Bob. Pristine was one great looking white when I had her in my yard. I always enjoyed her and she bloomed almost all the time it seemed.

So pretty Rooty! I know you're enjoying her. What is the pink growing up? Nice pic!

Very pretty!!

Very nice, Root! I like the tree form - it puts the blooms at eye level. Is that a passiflora you've got in the barrel with the brug? Does the passi overwinter with the brug in that barrel or did you plant them separately?

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Oh Wow, I missed this one! Looking real good Root! Is she a huge bloom? Adding this one to the list.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Don't know where Bob is, but yes Tracey, she has a nice big bloom. For a white, she really is a beauty.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I love the shape of his plant. Look very regal, Bob better hurry up and get over here! I got to go to work.

She is such a beauty, Root.

Hmmm...... anything to cut on yet?..... :)~

Very nice Root, I still love whites too.

I talked to Roz a while back, she said she absolutely loves that brug.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

It keeps going for the Sky!!!!! Monica needs a chair to smell it.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

She is a beautiful brug. Kyle did well with this one. I'm so glad I got to grow the seed and share the rewards. Remember to start me one or save me a cutting later on Bob. I just hated to cut that big plant up and I'm so glad you wanted it.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

What a beauty! Also, like all the under-plantings too!!

Do you recommend the wooden half-barrels for growing your Brugs in? Do you "double plant" (container within a larger container), as Monika recommends in her Brug book? What's your "secret" for getting those gorgeous blooms???

I would also love a cutting in the Fall, when you "winterize" your Brugs.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Shirley1,I just used the barrel because it would not hold water for Aqua plants,,I hated to get rid of it,so I filled it with compost.as far as underplantings, the Passi was in the pot coming from Shirley,it is the only one I have ever been able to overwinter, and the Balsam was a volunteer from the compost.
I am not sure if Kyle has given this one the go to be released,I will be sure Shirley and Kyle get first cuttings,I am like Shirley,I am going to hate to cut on her,but I will never get it through a door,LOL! It is a real good rooter,so I will make sure you,Roz and all get a shot at her if Kyle says it is OK.
