I'm putting this thread on "Watch" because I'd love some, too. Had some at my old house and it spread nicely in my woodland shade garden. It was the standard white sweet woodruff and I understand there is also a pink sweet woodruff.

I *think* I have some, not sure if it lived through the rains. I'll have to check tomorrow and see. I was selling them at the Farmers Market and not a one sold, I think I have 3...I'll let you both know tomorrow.

blau534 and darius, I have sweet woodruff in my shade areas. I can share some starts if that is what you are looking for. Unfortunately I do not have a large quantity yet but will be happy to send you some to get you going if you wish. Let me know.

mariajose and Lisa... While I really want some sweetwoodruff again, I think I should wait until I have a place of my own again. Thanks SO much for the offer!

Lisa--
Not one sold?? Silly people! I'm totally enamored with that plant... I used to throw a handful on the dash of my boyfriend's car before roadtrips and it would fill the car with that warm sweet vanilla smell as it baked up there.

I'm currently nursing a clump back to health that I took from my old house... it sat out in the sun for a little too long (oops). I'm sure it'll be doing better in a few months, and then I'll have some to share.

i have tons - send me email if you want some. i have a special 'sweet woodruff to share' area- this might NOT be the best time to send it tho - early spring is best....maybe fall too. we can check it out

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

handhelpers, I am always amazed what folks don't buy here.. I can't hardly sell a tropical plant to save my life..lol..

I do have a couple of woodroofs left, although they look poorly. If you are interested in them let me know, I'll send you a picture of them to see if you can nurse them back. All it will cost you is postage.

Northeast, WA(Zone 5a)

If none of these worked, I have plenty. Have any of you tried to mail any? How would you pack it? Let me know if anybody wants some of mine. Jeanette, Washington state

Coopersburg, PA(Zone 6b)

jeanette - i sent some to blau [hopefully it's doing well] - you pack it up the same way as most any perennial by wrapping the roots in a damp paper towel....covering that with plastic bag/wrap and secure loosely with a rubber band. i always ship usps priority mail so the plants only take 2-3 days to ship.

Kingston, NY

doing very well thanks handhelpers am ready for some more if anyone wants to volunteer for shipping or money thanks again

Blau534:
I work at a garden center and we have lots of this left. All of our perennials are now 40% off, and I think it was $2.99 per plug (they are pretty small in 2 x 2" pots.) Let me know if you want some more, and I'll ask my boss what he wants for the rest of it. (Probably 15-20 plants?) If you have anything interesting to trade, maybe we could work something out...

Email me if interested.
