Terry, what is that? A Canna? I've never tried one of these but seriously considering it for next year. What's your opinion?

Sledder, the plant itself looks similar to a Canna, but the leaves are much stiffer, and they seem hardier (I left mine in the pond all winter, down at the deeper end.
I didn't realize they'd bloom, and apparently its going to be some type of dark purple bloom, which should be pretty cool ;o)
Please post a pic when it blooms. I'm anxious to see it.
Terry, yes please post a pic when it blooms :) I was so happy to see the yellow water iris you sent me just blooming their lil hearts away!!!! You warned me that they take over the pond, well mine is 50 Xl50 so I can't wait til the lil buggers multiply!
