In South Jersey, according to the weather man, we are in for a couple of really hot and humid days...which turns my thoughts to frozen deserts!
Do any of us make our own ice cream, sherbets, or frozen ices? If so what is your favorite recipe. I REALLY love butter pecan in a butterscotch ice cream, and to compliment this flavor...a really chocolatey, chocolate ice cream!
Am also looking for information and advice on purchasing an ice cream maker. I already have a couple of makers that require rock salt (hard to find in my area in the Summer time)
and chipped ice. However, would like to purchase a really good, self contained electric unit. Have been looking at the Cuisinart Ice 20.
Any "Voice of Experience" on the matter???
