Your driveway must look so sunny with all these yellow suavs. So pretty!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thank you all! And, yes, it smells good - like a brug... And, the driveway is looking good except for the three holes where I had to remove the ones I lost to rot. Just wish there was a pink in the bunch... There are still a few that haven't bloomed, so here's hoping :)

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

I love it Gretchen! Those are some pretty shades of yellow, and a nice change from all the pinks, I think!

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful Gretchen!!! I really like the color.....

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Great bloom, great color, does the plant have other buds?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful bloom, Gretchen. I love the color.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thank you all! No, this is the lone bloom and no more buds that I can find at the moment. I sure hope so soon. This is the next best thing to pink! Here she is tonight. I sure hope her future blooms are as pretty as this one!!!

Very nice!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thank you! I'm loving this one!!!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Me too! I'm partial to yellows and whites anyway. :-)

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

What are the great looking little Orange blooms above, behind the ruler pic?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very pretty Gretchen. Congrats to you and the hybridizer.

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

Good job Gretchen and JT! I really like this one. It will be interesting to see how many of the flowers are 7-pointers. At least we know it has the potential!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Gold Traum did it for me.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thank you all!!! Toot, your Goldtraum is gorgeous, and the orange flowers are Cosmos "Lady Bird Johnson" which is a dwarf variety. I have man varieties of cosmos in my garden, and this is an unbeatable cultivar. Non-stop blooms all summer long, and it gets to a max of around 18', so its a nice one to use as bedding under the brugs.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

That one is really cool looking Gretchen. Can I please get on a list for a fall cutting if she is big enough???

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very pretty. It almost looks lacey at the bottom and and I like the shade of yellow. I think we need more pretty yellows one that don't turn gold or orange as they age.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

That is very beautiful, Gretchen. I would like to be on the cutting list also. Besides the red that Kell has I think this is the one I would choose next.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thanks to you all! She may not end up being big enough this year for cuttings, and I have to have J.T.'s approval to share her... Please remind me as we get closer to old weather......

And, Franny her color only improved with age. She's a really gorgeous shade of yellow!

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Gretchen this is your brug to do with as you like. You did the hard work.Share away.I wouldn't mind getting on the list for a cutting of this one if the 7 points hold on the next flush.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Gretchen, It is absolutely gorgeous. Love that lemony yellow color. So far in seedlings I have only white, but there are a lot of my seedlings that haven't Y'd. Hopefully something interesting will develop. I sure can't even carry a whole lot over winter even as cuttings. Donna

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thanks J.T.! You are first on the list, of course!

Donna: Thank you! These two IGXEG and one Whiskers X ? are the only seedlings I've had with color. All my others have bloomed white, but I have about six left that haven't bloomed. Fingers are crossed!!!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

My 'Jean Pasco' that I got from DonnaB last fall ru had a couple of seven pointers much to my surprise.

Looking great Gretchen :)

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Gretchen, whatever happened to this plant?Did you decide to keep and name it and did the 7 points hold?I still think it's a beauty.

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

JT, I have not seen her here in a long time.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I haven't talked to Gretchen in some time, but when I did, she had started working. She said that David had decided that he enjoyed the computer, so she didn't get much time to use it. LOL!

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

The computer bit I fully understand. We had to get a second one.

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

You don't think Maggi would let me use her computer.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Love her curves. Congrats Kaufmann!

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

I REALLY love it! It's pretty and spunky!

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

LOL at the computer talk. My Christmas bonus came in at double it usually is, so I am thinking of buying myself a laptop for the very reasons above. I'm on the computer most of the time and I've always told Fred that I know I hog it, so if he needs it to just let me know and I'll get off so he can use it. He nevers (or very, very rarely asks), yet he complains regularly about how he never gets to use it. lol.

Ya, I've wondered about Gretchen (Kaufman). She used to post regularly and usually with interesting posts. Then she just disappeared. Hope all is well with her.
